As an IT Operations Engineer specializing in Azure and DevOps, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performing systems. You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, monitor system health, and troubleshoot issues across environments. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply Agile methodologies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Accountabilities:
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Designing and implementing Azure YAML pipelines for CI/CD automation.
- Performing proactive system maintenance and lifecycle management to ensure operational excellence.
- Developing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems for performance and reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support deployments and troubleshoot issues.
- Applying Agile methodologies to deliver iterative, high-quality solutions.
- Providing advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and operational support across environments.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- 5–10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Azure YAML pipelines.
- Strong programming and scripting skills, including experience with Linux, Java, and Ansible.
- Expertise in monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Experience with Bicep for Azure resource deployment.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Apache Cassandra and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and infrastructure automation best practices.
