We're looking for a motivated and driven Senior Frontend Engineer (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality user interfaces that are intuitive, engaging, and responsive.

Our team is dedicated to automating and streamlining FlixTrain's operations. By building tools that enable internal users to manage fleet and operations planning more efficiently, the team is helping to reduce manual processes and increase overall productivity. The product will have a significant impact on the company's ability to optimize its resources and operations, ultimately leading to a more cost-effective and efficient service. Our newly formed team consists of 2 Senior Java Backend Engineers, a Senior FrontEnd Engineer, a Senior UI/UX Designer, and a Senior Product Owner. Together, we're crafting a software product almost entirely from scratch. As such, there will be a lot of discovery involved in the design process, as we work to identify the most efficient and effective workflows.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

You will lead the development of innovative FlixTrain operational products almost from scratch;
You will take full ownership of the frontend architecture, allowing you to design and implement solutions using the latest technologies and best practices without being constrained by legacy systems;
Tackle complex technical challenges head-on as you brainstorm, prototype, and implement cutting-edge features and functionalities that push the boundaries;
You will drive the development process using an Agile environment;
You will be a part of a dynamic, collaborative team where your contributions directly shape the success of the business;

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

5+ years of professional experience in frontend development;
Strong focus on architecture, system design, and building products and features from scratch;
Profound understanding of JavaScript and its ecosystem;
Solid experience working with the React ecosystem;
Extensive knowledge of HTML/CSS;
Experience with different test runners such (e.g Jest or Vitest);
Familiarity with UI and end-to-end testing;
Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency or higher;
You enjoy working within an agile setup.
