The Role
As Head of Sales DACH, you will lead our first German location and play a key role in the continued build-up, stabilization, and scaling of our activities in the DACH market.
You will work on-site in Cologne, report directly to the Regional Sales Director, and collaborate closely with our team in Barcelona.
Your main goal: to establish a strong sales organization, strengthen existing structures, and drive a clear growth strategy to not only meet but exceed our revenue targets.
Your Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and successfully execute a scalable sales strategy.
- Set clear revenue targets and lead a high-performing team (5–7 AEs).
- Work closely with senior leadership to achieve company goals.
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify and systematically develop new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, optimize our presence, and expand our market reach.
- Strengthen existing customer relationships and unlock new revenue potential.
Sales Processes & Performance
- Monitor the pipeline, analyze KPIs, and optimize processes for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between teams and locations.
- Promote operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
Team Development & Leadership
- Recruit, develop, and nurture top sales talent.
- Build a strong, trust-based team culture at the Cologne office.
- Support new team members and create an environment that fosters performance and collaboration.
Customers & Partnerships
- Maintain long-term customer relationships and develop strategic partnerships.
- Represent Factorial in the DACH region, including at events and industry conferences.
- Open new business opportunities through active networking and market presence.
Your Profile
- 10+ years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in leading, scaling, and developing high-performing sales teams in fast-growing organizations.
- Strong strategic and operational leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of modern sales techniques (prospecting, negotiation, closing) and experience in complex sales organizations.
- Expertise in strategic sales planning, revenue forecasting, territory development, and budgeting.
- Experience in SaaS, B2B, or technology-driven industries (e.g. cybersecurity, AI, cloud, enterprise software) is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with strong financial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
