Tasks

→ You actively shape your position, we want you to get involved and contribute ideas.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable clickstream data pipelines using AWS services like Kinesis Data Streams, Delivery Firehose, Lambda functions, and S3 buckets.
• Implement data transformations and processing logic using PySpark to ensure efficient data handling and analysis.
• Optimizing and troubleshooting the existing data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources into our DataLakehouse on DataBricks.
• Utilize Python and SQL for data manipulation, querying, and data validation tasks.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and proactively identify and address issues to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and using technologies in data engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark for data manipulation and processing.
• Hands-on experience with DataBricks and AWS services (e.g., S3, Kinesis, Lambda) or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes, also orchestrating ETL workflows.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts with focus on the DataVault model is preferred.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of data integration and data quality best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent English in both verbal and written skills.
