    With Depotcharge, we’re building Europe’s leading marketplace for shared depot charging – connecting carriers with depot operators to provide electric fleets with access to exclusive, cost-effective EV charging while creating new revenue streams for depot operators.

    Tasks

    • Design and develop scalable software solutions to enable a seamless charging experience for electric trucks.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with design and product to translate user needs into intuitive, reliable technical solutions.
    • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure high-quality code following best practices and modern CI/CD workflows.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends (e.g. EV charging protocols) and integrate innovative technologies into our products.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on building scalable applications.
    • Proficiency in modern technologies such as Kotlin (Spring Boot) and TypeScript / React, PostgreSQL and Docker.
    • Experience with cloud services and infrastructure, preferably Azure.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team in a startup environment.
    • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (German is a plus)
    • Passion for renewable energy and a desire to contribute to the future of electric transportation.
    • Ideally, you have experience of working with EV charging infrastructure protocols such as OCPP and OCPI, or with billing and payments (e.g. Stripe, Mollie), for example through a previous role working on a Charge Point Management System (CPMS) or on a E-Mobility Service Provider (EMP) platform.
