EnopAI is an early-stage software startup originating from the established Rudolf Hörmann GmbH & Co. KG. They are empowering leading EMS integrators and hardware vendors with cloud-to-cloud “optimization-as-a-service,” seamlessly linking on-site control systems to their AI engine.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team at the forefront of energy innovation, where every line of code you write drives cleaner, more resilient grids across Europe.

    The Mission

The goal is to make the "black box" of AI optimization visible and actionable. EnopAI needs a frontend expert to build the interface that allows facility managers and EMS integrators to trust and control the optimization engine.

From powerful configuration modules to intuitive mobile experiences, you will be responsible for making interactions with a complex optimization engine feel simple and enjoyable.

    Tasks

You will work onsite-first in a cross-functional team, defining frontend standards and owning features from concept to production.

    • Core Product UI: Architect and build the main web application using modern technologies (React, TypeScript).
    • User-Facing Product: Create and improve key desktop experiences (dashboards, digital twin configurations) as well as intuitive on-site mobile experiences (e-vehicle charging, maintenance scheduling).
    • Advanced Data Visualization: Implement high-performance charting (D3.js, Recharts, etc.) to display live power flows and optimization schedules without clutter.
    • UX/UI Ownership: Bridge the gap between "functional" and "delightful." You will turn complex requirements into intuitive user flows.
    • Component Architecture: Establish a reusable component library that scales across different views (mobile vs. desktop) and ensures UI consistency.

    Requirements

    • Experience: 5+ years of experience building rich SPAs and responsive web applications.
    • Tech Stack: Deep expertise in TypeScript and a modern framework (React, Vue, or Svelte).
    • Mobile First: You understand that "Mobile First" applies to touch targets, layout shifts, and simplifying flows for users on the go.
    • AI Tooling: You know how to leverage AI tools effectively to speed up exploration and prototyping while keeping the production codebase robust and clean.
    • Code Quality: Clean, maintainable code matters to you, and you’re always looking for ways to improve the build process.
    • Mindset: You think like an owner, not just an executor. You are proactive, curious, and pragmatic.
    • Design Sense: You can take a rough concept, turn it into a prototype, and iterate until it is a polished, user-friendly interface.

Bonus: Experience with Data Visualization libraries or the Energy Domain.

    Benefits

    • Impact: Make a difference by accelerating the energy transition with your work.
    • Team: The excitement of working in a driven start-up team where your contribution truly matters.
    • Environment: A prime location office right at Goetheplatz in Munich (home office days possible).
    • Growth: Keep growing as you help define the future of energy software, solving tough frontend problems alongside a collaborative team.
    • Compensation: Competitive salary with additional benefits such as EGYM Wellpass.

    About the Company: EnopAI

EnopAI’s real-time platform ingests live data streams-solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, CHP units, and instantly tunes every parameter to drive down costs and carbon emissions. Proven at the Hörmann production site and a growing roster of industrial partners, they deliver tangible stability, savings, and a smoother path through Europe’s energy transition.
