What you'll do
- provide first-line technical support to employees via email, or in-person, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues,
- troubleshoot and resolve IT problems, including desktop/laptop issues, printer malfunctions, software installation, and configuration problems,
- assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- ensure timely and accurate documentation of all support activities, including issue resolution, escalation procedures, and knowledge base articles,
- collaborate with the IT team to test and deploy software updates and security configurations.
- conduct hardware and software inventory management, including asset tagging, tracking, and maintenance,
- collaborate with IT team members on projects and initiatives to improve IT infrastructure, systems, and processes,

What you’ll need
- You are currently enrolled in a university program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least two semesters remaining.
- Strong learning ability and high motivation to quickly understand and adapt to new technical topics.
- Ideally, you already have some first experience in IT support through internships, student jobs, or personal projects.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
- Good knowledge and understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Very good communication skills – able to explain complex technical information clearly and patiently to non-technical employees.
- A strong service mindset, with a focus on providing helpful, reliable, and solution-oriented support.
- Working style: proactive, structured, and organized, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple requests simultaneously when needed.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and proficiency in German is a big plus
