    Your Mission:

    As Head of Marketing at enmacc, your role is pivotal in shaping the company's growth trajectory. The successful candidate will play a key part in achieving our ambitious goals and establishing enmacc as a dominant force in the European energy and environmental trading markets. You will make recommendations to the Chief Revenue Officer on how to accelerate revenue growth through marketing.

    Your Responsibilities / What you'll do: 

    • Revenue Growth and Scaling: Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to drive revenue growth, by establishing enmacc as the leading platform in new European markets such as Italy, Spain, and France, as well as new commodities, such as Renewable Power Guarantees of Origin ("GOOs") and EU Carbon Emission Allowances ("EUAs"),  while strengthening our presence in the DACH region for gas and power markets.
    • Market Segmentation: Identify and define target market segments, ensuring that marketing efforts are tailored to effectively reach and engage specific customer groups.
    • Customer Journey Optimization: Analyse and optimise the customer journey to enhance user experience and conversion rates, employing best-in-class SaaS marketing strategies to drive customer retention and loyalty.
    • Lifecycle Marketing: Implement comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies to maximise customer lifetime value, including onboarding, upselling, cross-selling, and churn reduction initiatives.
    • Team Management: Lead and grow the marketing team, to align efforts, streamline processes, and leverage the team's expertise in executing marketing campaigns.
    • Product Integration: Work closely with the product team to ensure that marketing efforts align with product development and release cycles, effectively communicating product value propositions to the target audience.
    • Brand Strategy: Developing and evolving the company's brand identity. This includes defining the brand's mission, vision, values, and unique selling propositions (USPs) Collaboration with the design team to ensure that all marketing materials align with the brand's visual identity and messaging.
    • Sales Alignment: Foster strong collaboration with the sales team to generate high-quality leads, support sales initiatives, and provide the necessary marketing materials and tools for a successful sales process.
    • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilise data analytics and KPIs to continuously evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness, make data-driven decisions, and iterate on strategies for optimal results.
    • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with the revenue operations team to optimise marketing technology stack, streamline processes, and ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts with other revenue-generating functions.
    • Market Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position enmacc as a leader in the energy and environmental commodities trading space, driving brand recognition and authority

     

    Your profile / What you'll need:

    • A bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience in related field
    • 8 years of work experience in digital B2B marketing preferably in a SaaS and/or B2B online marketplace environment
    • Strong experience in scaling a start-up for revenue growth 
    • Strong experience in leading a team that is set up to excel
    • Excellent people skills with experience in stakeholder management
    • Strives both at conceptual work and detailed implementation
    • Strong knowledge of CRM software and marketing analytics
    • Sufficient knowledge of web frontend incl. CMS, video editing and graphic design to lead and hands-on support implementation
    • Able to work with and manage projects with freelancers and agencies
    • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can work on own initiative without close supervision
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with strong attention to detail
    • Preferably has worked in the energy, commodities or financial trading industries and/or has high willingness to develop industry-specific knowledge in energy trading
    • Fluent English and an additional European language would be a plus
