We’re expanding our Quantitative Research Unit at D11Z. Ventures, one of Europe’s largest single-LP Family Office VCs.
We’re looking for a hands-on Quantitative Intern eager to apply AI and quantitative research to the world of Venture Capital.
If you’re passionate about machine learning, data-driven investing, and startups, this is your opportunity to work at the intersection of tech and finance and help redefine how we generate venture alpha.
Tasks
- Develop and test quantitative models predicting startup success, funding timing, and sector momentum
- Build and validate ML/NLP models using venture and market data
- Create data automation pipelines (e.g. Pipedream, Airflow, custom APIs)
- Evaluate alternative data sources to uncover new alpha signals
- Collaborate with investors to turn data into actionable insights
Requirements
- Master’s student or Gap Year between Bachelor and Master (CS, Physics, Math, or similar)
- Strong skills in Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and APIs (PostgREST / Supabase REST APIs)
- Solid software engineering and data automation skills
- Familiarity with Pipedream, LangChain, Hugging Face, or Streamlit
- Quantitative mindset and a passion for startups and venture capital
- Good command of both German and English
- Above all: hands-on, curious, builder mindset
