Working Student (DevOps / Cloud Engineering)

As part of our dynamic and cross-functional team, you will be instrumental in developing features within a specific value stream while actively influencing product decisions based on input from customers, stakeholders, and your team.

Tasks

Work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices while supporting daily DevOps operations.
Support in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab), ensuring smooth and automated software delivery.
Assist in managing containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud services, with a focus on AWS (Azure optional).
Contribute to monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to improve reliability and observability.
Participate in incident handling and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior engineers.
Collaborate closely with developers to streamline deployments and improve developer experience.

Requirements

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
First hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD tools (GitHub/GitLab).
Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, PHP, Bash, Java)
Interest in topics like automation, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and reliability engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work in a team.
Communication: fluent English required; German is a plus.
