  • We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to help us improve Bolt's Campaigns

    <strong>About the role</strong>

    You will be building models for predicting the probability of the user booking under specific circumstances. You will work on customer segmentation: discover rider, driver, and eater segments for efficient campaign targeting. As a Data Scientist, you will be developing a system for automating promo campaigns setup and scaling it for millions of Bolt customers. You will be engaged in designing optimal experimental setup for comparing different campaigns targeting methodologies and user behavior dynamics. You will work on prioritizing user acquisition channels using analytical and machine learning approaches.


     

    <strong>Your daily adventures will include:</strong>

    • Machine learning and statistical model development and its deployment into a production environment)
    • Studying historical user behavior data to identify opportunities for optimization)
    • Building models for optimal users' discount allocation )
    • Developing a system for automating regular promo campaign setups)
    • Setting up A/B tests, collecting, interpreting its results, and communicating to stakeholders)
    • Working with a technical stack consisting of Python, Docker, Presto, SageMaker, Airflow)
    • Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, product managers, and software engineers in feature teams )


    <strong>About you:</strong>

    • Industry experience in data science and machine learning (3+ years recommended)
    • Natural curiosity to identify problems, explore trends, and discover opportunities with little supervision
    • Capability to approach problems with first-principle thinking
    • Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Experience in time series analysis, modeling multivariate time series, familiarity with forecasting techniques
    • Experience in Python programming, including libraries like Pandas, Numpy, sklearn, OR-tools
    • Understanding and practical experience with statistical hypothesis testing
    • You will get extra credits for Ph.D. in a quantitative field (physics, mathematics, computer science, economics)
    • You will get extra credits for product development experience in a technology company
    • You will get extra credits for experience with multivariate time series forecasting methods
