About the team:

The Tracking Team is part of Better Tracking Tribe at Bettermile. The team's goal is to create exciting and engaging UX to enable consignees to influence their delivery experience and reduce the communication gap between driver and consignee. With your expertise, we can enhance our software product by seamlessly implementing features, efficiently navigating complex projects, contributing strategically to architectural decisions, and staying at the forefront of industry innovation.

Tasks

You will be taking care of

Independently drive the implementation of features across frontend & backend systems, ensuring seamless integration
Proactively engage with cross-functional teams, product owners, and on-call engineers to swiftly resolve inquiries and challenges arising during implementation
Identify sizable or intricate tasks during the planning phase, providing valuable insights to product owners for effective task breakdown into precisely cut components
Play a pivotal role in making strategic, long-term team decisions, particularly concerning framework selections and architecture enhancements, all aligned with the overarching business objectives
Contribute to the architectural evolution by adeptly breaking down larger services into smaller, scalable microservices, fostering agility and efficiency

Requirements

You check these boxes

A robust background in software engineering, including 3+ years in frontend libraries and backend experience
Proficiency in JavaScript, Vue.js, CSS, and adeptness in working with RESTful architecture
Proficiency in backend technologies such as Kotlin / Java / Scala, Gradle, and the Spring Boot Framework, complemented by hands-on experience with AWS services
Demonstrated project proficiency in Vue.js (including Vuex), Jest, Swagger, and Git, showcasing your applied skills and experience in these technologies
Proficiency in Business English

It is awesome if you also have

Automated UI Testing: Experience with tools like Selenium and Cucumber for streamlined UI testing processes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment methodologies using tools such as GitHub Actions, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery
Exposure or interest in AI and machine learning concepts, showcasing a desire to explore innovative technologies
Competency in Python, enhancing versatility in scripting and data handling tasks
Familiarity with AWS services, such as Athena, SageMaker, and Quicksight, indicating an understanding of cloud-based analytics and machine learning services
