    Your Mission

    Your mission is to design, customize, and operate our ThingsBoard-based IoT platform, ensuring reliable device connectivity, meaningful data visualization, and scalable system performance.
    You will work at the intersection of hardware, backend systems, and data, transforming raw sensor data into actionable insights for real-world industrial use cases.

    Your Responsibilities

    IoT Platform & ThingsBoard

    • Configure and customize ThingsBoard dashboards, widgets, and rule chains

    • Develop custom ThingsBoard widgets using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS

    • Extend ThingsBoard functionality via REST APIs, microservices, or plugins

    Device & Data Integration

    • Connect IoT devices using MQTT, HTTP, or CoAP

    • Manage device profiles, attributes, and telemetry streams

    • Ensure secure device provisioning (tokens, certificates)

    Data Processing & Monitoring

    • Configure telemetry storage and aggregation (PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB)

    • Implement alarms, notifications, and data filtering

    • Integrate external analytics tools (e.g. Python, Grafana)

    Backend & System Integration

    • Work with the ThingsBoard REST API and SDKs (Python / Java)

    • Develop custom microservices when additional business logic is required

    • Operate and improve the platform in Linux and Docker-based environments



    Your Profile

    • Strong knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP)

    • Hands-on experience with ThingsBoard (Community or Professional Edition)

    • Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS

    • Experience with REST APIs and system integrations (Python or Java)

    • Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB)

    • Experience with Docker, ideally also Kubernetes

    • Understanding of scalable systems and message brokers (Kafka, Redis)

    Nice to have

    • Java / Spring Boot for ThingsBoard backend extensions

    • Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy)

    • DevOps experience (CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform)

    • Knowledge of IoT security (TLS/SSL, VPNs)

    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, GCP IoT)

    • Basic understanding of AI/ML use cases for IoT
