Atmen is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our journey as a fast-growing tech company. As a Solution Engineer, you are working at the forefront of our customer-activities as the hands-on problem who unlocks maximum value for customers, and bridges the gap between our cloud platform and all the specifics of our customers’ IT/OT structures. Tasks
As a Solution Engineer within Atmen’s Operations Team, you will work directly with our customers. Your role has two sides:
- On the one hand, you will bridge the gap between our customers’ IT/OT systems, Atmen’s developers and product teams. You will design and implement technical solutions that maximize usability for our customers, enhance their onboarding experience, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure our platform integrates effectively with customers’ existing systems. This requires strong technical problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a passion for operational excellence in a SaaS environment.
- On the other hand, we are looking for someone who is versatile, curious, and has an appetite to dive into all aspects of operations in a RegTech company. This goes beyond technical work — it’s about collaborating closely with Atmen’s regulation experts to develop solutions that deliver maximum customer value. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of technology, product, and regulation, always with a user-centric mindset. Your mission will be to help shape how we bring our solutions to market, ensuring they meet customer needs and regulatory requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Path-to-Value: Understand customer-specific requirements, and translate into tailored platform configurations and smooth onboarding plans for the shortest path-to-value. Align proposed solutions with Atmen’s internal backlog.
- Technical Implementation: Configure and integrate our SaaS platform seamlessly with customers’ existing tools and workflows — including data pipelines. Focus on delivering value from day one.
- Operational Efficiency: Design and develop automation scripts, workflows, and integrations that streamline operations, maximising efficiency for both Atmen and our customers.
- Support our customers: Engage with customers not just for support but also in a versatile problem-solving capacity. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them de-risk their certification journey.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues, coordinating with the engineering team when necessary, to minimise disruption and maximise customer satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with Atmen’s Technical Sales and Subject Matter Experts to ensure all features or our solutions are compliant with EU regulation.
- Product Collaboration: Interface with Atmen’s product & tech teams to help define business logics and user stories.
- Optimize operational processes to enhance the efficiency and scalability of customer onboarding and certification workflows. Develop playbooks and best practices to streamline recurring operational challenges, and unlock maximum customer value consistently.
Requirements
🏆 Must-haves
- 3+ years of professional experience in a related role (e.g. Solution Engineer, Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, Technical Consultant, Systems Analyst, …)
- Passion for building high-value solutions that solve real pains. Not just working tech.
- Strong understanding of APIs (REST), data streaming protocols (e.g. MQTT, OPC UA), and cloud environments.
- Strong software engineering principles: clean code, modularity, testing, and maintainability. Experience designing and maintaining scalable, distributed systems.
- Highest levels of reliability and professionalism. Ability to own communication channels with clients & partners.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Outstanding communication skills in English (both written and spoken), with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively & in an understandable way with stakeholders of various backgrounds.
- Self-motivated and able to navigate a fast-changing startup environment.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
