    Tasks

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Own and evolve the end-to-end test strategy across mobile (iOS & Android), Web and API layers.
    • Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks in Python and TypeScript using tools like Appium, Playwright, and Maestro.
    • Define and track quality metrics (coverage, flakiness, escape defects)
    • Design scalable CI/CD quality gates and optimize feedback loops
    • Establish strategies for performance, reliability, and resilience testing
    • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to shift testing left, embedding quality from design through delivery.
    • Introduce advanced testing approaches (e.g., contract testing, mocking, service virtualization).
    • Drive system testability and influence architecture decisions.
    • Proactively identify coverage gaps, flaky tests, and systemic risk areas and fix them.

    Requirements

    Your Profile:

    • 5+ years of hands-on QA/test automation experience, including Web and Mobile applications.
    • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, test case design, and defect management.
    • Demonstrated ownership of QA strategy in complex, distributed systems
    • Deep expertise in test automation architecture and scalable test design
    • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch) to support test coverage, incident analysis, and root cause investigations
    • Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines and working in agile environments.
    • A fast learner who picks up new tools, frameworks, and domains quickly and independently.
    • Strong communicator who can explain a flaky test failure to a developer and a quality risk to a product manager.
    • Experience in influencing engineering and product decisions through quality insights
    • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
