They develop real-time machine learning & image processing systems and continuously design new concepts to generate innovative software solutions. They work together in cross-functional and international teams to exceed the expectations of our customers.

    For our office in Nuremberg, we are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible:

    Responsibilities

    • Develop real-time AI/ML image processing systems for airspace surveillance and drone detection, which are character­ized by a very high data rate.
    • Continuously propose new concepts for our soft­ware architecture with a focus on back-end, both to improve perfor­mance and to realize new customer require­ments.
    • Integrate our soft­ware platform with other sensor or actuator systems.
    • Define work packages for sub­contractors and approve the develop­ment services.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure that the require­ments of the internal stake­holders from R&D, sales and product management are consolidated.

    Requirements

    • You have a computer science degree or a degree in a similar area.
    • You have significant experience as a software developer in real-time image processing with high data, preferably AI-related.
    • You have very good knowledge in object-oriented software development in Python or C++ as well as first experience with frameworks like PyTorch, Flask, GStreamer and Deepstream.
    • You have very good knowledge of developing under Linux.
    • You are experienced in developing unit tests.
    • You have experience with Docker, and you are familiar with CI/CD tools such as GitLab pipelines or Jenkins.
    • Your good English skills, your inde­pendent way of working as well as your enthusiasm for working in a team complete your profile.
