We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Berlin (Pankow district). The ideal candidate will be fluent in German, highly business-oriented, and eager to make an impact in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks
- Act as a strategic business partner to the commercial team, supporting expansion plans and changes in business models.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to drive decision-making and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, Commercial, Regulatory) to evaluate the financial implications of business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies, including VAT, customs, and local taxes.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy and compliance of payroll-related processes, working closely with internal HR and external providers to secure timely and correct employee compensation.
- Oversee the procure-to-pay process to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Support cross-departmental digital transformation initiatives, ensuring financial alignment and accuracy.
Requirements
- Fluency in German (C1 or above) and proficiency in English.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a similar role (e-commerce experience preferred).
- Strong expertise in Excel (advanced functions, financial modeling) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large data sets.
