Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

We're in search of a highly skilled and proactive Engineer to join our growing team as employee #3. This presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a significant impact in a dynamic early-stage startup environment. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced setting and is ready to collaborate closely with our founders. This is an on-site position based in our headquarters located in Berlin, Germany.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of core product features, contributing to both frontend and backend development.
• Collaborate closely with our engineering team to conceptualize and implement new features.
• Continuously maintain and enhance our codebase for optimal performance and scalability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and assist in debugging tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven track record with substantial experience in full-stack developer roles, preferably at a Senior Software Engineer level.
• Solid expertise in JavaScript/Typescript and proficiency in frontend frameworks such as Vue.js/React, along with server-side development using Node.js.
• Proficient in working with various database technologies, with strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis preferred.
• Experience in deploying and managing software in a scalable manner, utilizing technologies like Kubernetes.
• Bonus points for experience in building, managing, and optimizing DevOps pipelines in a production environment.
• Additional advantage for candidates with a background in Machine/Deep Learning or prior exposure to working with Large Language or Multimodal Models.
• Fluent in both English and German, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.

Salary Range: €90,000 - €110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
