    Senior Data Engineer (all genders): 
    Spain or Germany

    As a Senior Data Engineer at TrustYou, you will be helping our customers to make guests happy by collecting, validating, enriching, and making available downstream a large amount of data to feed our SaaS products.

  • Designing, building and operating data processing pipelines as a part of a seasoned data engineering team
  • Engaging with our product team to understand our customers and deliver a great value for them
  • Participating in architectural decisions and technology management
  • Taking responsibility for planning and designing software

  • Supporting and mentoring others

    You are a perfect fit, if you have…
  • More than 10 years of total experience, with at least 4 years focused on data intensive applications
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing and manipulation
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka for building streaming-based data pipelines
  • Solid understanding of multiple relational and non relational database systems, like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch or ClickHouse
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of SRE tools and techniques
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with clear communication, flexibility, openness to debate and challenge, and the ability to mentor other team members
  • An agile mindset to deliver great products with an iterative approach
  • Fluency in English

  • Experienced with owning a complex subsystem / building one from scratch
  • Experienced making impactful architectural choices with detailed trade-off analysis
  • Experienced in designing and implementing  scalable data-intensive APIs
  • Having a bias for the automation of testing and deployment
  • Looking forward to adopting AI extensively, both for the daily work and as part of our SaaS platform
  • Strongly aligned with business goals, with definition and measurement of relevant KPIs
