    To strengthen our finance team in Berlin, we are currently looking for an experienced and motivated: Finance Controller (m/w/d)

    Tasks

    • Prepare, analyze, and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for Germany and the European region.
    • Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management for decision-making.
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting records (HGB, IFRS) in cooperation with external tax advisors and auditors
    • Manage VAT and tax-related topics, ensuring compliance with German tax regulations and supporting external audits.
    • Monitor and optimize cash flow, payment processes, and banking transactions
    • Review and approve invoices, contracts, and expenses in accordance with company policies.
    • Collaborate closely with regional and HQ finance teams on reporting, internal controls, and process improvements
    • Support distributor bonus calculations and ensure accurate and timely payouts.
    • Contribute to the development of internal financial policies, procedures, and digitalization initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in financial controlling, accounting, or auditing, ideally in an international company.
    • Strong knowledge of German accounting principles, VAT, and tax regulations; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
    • Solid experience with financial software (DATEV, SAP, Lexware, or similar).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive, structured, and independent working style.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
