📌We are looking for a Data Engineer for one of our customers in the Information Technology sector, based in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany.
🔐Tasks & Responsibilities
You maintain the already installed Power BI front-end and continuously develop it as a reporting and analysis tool for management and specialist departments
You will keep the links between the data from the ERP and MES systems (Oracle and SQL databases) and Power BI up to date
You develop a deeper understanding of the two upstream systems FOSS/Ordat ERP and CT data technology (MES)
You will independently solve interface problems in coordination with the system providers
You will prepare data and interfaces for further digitalisation steps in production and administrative processes
Requirements
🔑Profile
University degree, preferably in computer science or industrial engineering or hands-on experience in this field
Good knowledge of working with Oracle and SQL databases
Good knowledge in the handling and further development of Power BI and the creation of dashboards including the preparation of complex databases
As a team player, you are happy to liaise with internal customers on an ongoing basis and are willing to play a key role in further projects (e.g. AI in production)
You are fluent in German (C2) and can also communicate effortlessly in English
