As part of this team, you'll work at the heart of our ecosystem, tackling complex cross-market challenges, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations, and building scalable systems that drive adoption and long-term engagement.

What You'll Do
- Own the Strategy: Own the strategy and roadmap for merchant onboarding, product onboarding, upsell/cross-sell, and engagement features.
- Develop domain expertise: Become the go-to expert for compliance regulations, merchant profiles, verification methods, SumUp product ecosystem and technical product architecture.
- Drive Product Delivery: Contribute to the product roadmap and squad-level OKRs, supporting the development and delivery of in-flight features while ensuring smooth execution.
- Build Partnerships: Work closely with other product leaders and stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, Identity and Verification to navigate trade-offs and build scalable, compliant systems.
- Communicate with Impact: Clearly communicate your product vision, priorities, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on investment decisions.
- Understand the User: Engage with key stakeholders across all markets and acquisition channels to resolve friction points, identify user problems, and translate insights into actionable product requirements that improve the merchant experience.
- Prioritise for Impact: Use data and insights to identify gaps and opportunities and make informed prioritisation decisions, ensuring focus on high-value outcomes within strict compliance timelines.
You'll be great for this role if you have
- Demonstrated success delivering customer-facing products in complex, multi-market environments.
- Ability to navigate multi-system environments and drive a clear, strategic product roadmap that accounts for complex dependencies.
- Solid technical fluency that enables you to partner closely with engineers; comfortable understanding system behavior, APIs, and contributing to solution discussions.
- Solid data analysis skills to uncover opportunities, identify gaps and guide evidence-based product decisions.
- Proven track record of building trust, aligning stakeholders across markets, and engaging senior leaders to ensure teams have the clarity and resources needed to deliver.
Nice to Have
- A design background or experience designing complex product systems and user journeys.
- A strong understanding of KYC topics within the onboarding domain.
- Fintech product experience.
