Reporting directly to the Head of Electronic Warfare, the EW Software Engineer will help build the next generation of Electronic Warfare (EW) products powering STARK’s autonomous systems.
Write clean, efficient C++ code as part of a high-performing software engineering team
Develop and implement mathematical models for signal processing in EW systems
Lead and support board bring-up activities in close collaboration with FPGA and Electronics Engineers
Engage in full-stack development tasks, contributing across the software and hardware interface
Troubleshoot and debug complex system issues
Actively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to solve high-impact technical challenges
Take a hands-on role in prototyping and system integration
Contribute to flight testing and iterative refinement of EW capabilities
Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace, Telecommunications or other similar relevant fields.
+ 4 years of experience working with software and hardware in similar relevant fields.
Strong proficiency in C++
Board bring-up experience – familiarity with the entire process from bare-metal to functional testing
Exposure to signal processing and mathematical modeling
Comfortable working across the software-hardware boundary
Previous work involving full-stack software engineering and/or RF systems
Prior experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) or defense technologies
Strong understanding of hardware integration and testing
Hands-on experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR), RF, or advanced signal processing
Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary technical teams
