    Your tasks: 📌

    • Your contribution lays in the leadership of the global lead buyer team covering 15 locations worldwide with a purchasing spend of roughly 900 MEUR.

    • You can shape the contribution of our U.S. and Asian supply chain hubs to increase regional footprints and capture on global savings opportunities.

    • You define and execute with your team the global material group strategies to support the overall company strategy in the best possible way.

    • You account for constant supplier performance improvement like cost, payment terms, delivery, quality as well as sustainability performance.

    • You support the lead buyers in important negotiations or escalation meetings with suppliers worldwide.

    • You add value by aligning with other group functions like engineering and sales to achieve cross-functional savings and improvements.

    Your profile: 🔎

    • Senior leader with strong experience in strategic procurement, global sourcing, and category management in industrial manufacturing environments.

    • Proven leadership skills with a clear track record in strategic execution, analytics, and complex commercial negotiations.

    • Several years of experience leading international procurement teams, ideally in the transformer industry or comparable heavy electrical equipment sectors.

    • Expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management for commodities and complex design‑to‑order materials.

    • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint. Business‑fluent English required.
