Your Mission:We're looking for a Software Engineer to be part of the *Mission and Payload Software* team to help us reach the next level.
This team is responsible for developing software that runs on our cutting-edge onboard computer to interface with the subsystems and payloads, as well as run
algorithms to keep the satellite operational (data processing, thermal control, FDIR, ...).
What the team does:
- Develop high level applications to fulfill satellite functions: TM/TC handling, integration of AOCS algorithms, thermal control, ...
- Integrate satellite subsystems (sensors and actuators) and develop drivers to control them and collect telemetry
- Work with a cross-functional team to implement software to fulfill their requirements (COMS, thermal control, AOCS, ...)
- Integrate customer payloads
- Assist with on-orbit flight operations
Your Background:Note: We are recruiting all seniority levels. Senior profiles will be expected to tick more boxes, but we consider all applications, including those from less experienced candidates.
- Expertise in (embedded) C - with a taste for high-level applications (user experience, observability, configurability, ...)
- Proficiency in Python
- Working with requirements and project reviews (PDR, CDR, ...)
- Nice to have:
- NASA cFS framework
- Testing frameworks: pytest, Ceedling, ...
- ARM-based MCUs (Zynq, TMS570, STM32) and OSes (RTEMS, PetaLinux)
- CMake, GitLab CI
- CCSDS standards, MISRA
- Space environment and its consequences on flight hardware and software
- Curiosity to improve the industry's current practices: Rust, formal verification (Frama-C), ...
