    We are looking for a passionate and tech-savvy Community Manager to lead our efforts in growing and nurturing the Qdrant community across various platforms. You will be the voice and bridge between Qdrant and its users – building relationships, addressing feedback, amplifying community contributions, and driving conversations in the AI/ML space.

    This role combines community engagement, social media presence, and strategic communication – all grounded in a strong understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning.

    Tasks

    Community Engagement

    • Build, grow, and engage with Qdrant's global community across platforms like Discord, GitHub, Reddit, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and others.
    • Foster a welcoming and helpful environment for developers, data scientists, and ML engineers.
    • Organize community calls, AMAs, and other engagement initiatives.

    Social Media & Content

    • Manage and grow Qdrant's social media presence by creating and curating relevant, technical, and engaging content.
    • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to share product updates, tutorials, blog posts, and community stories.

    Monitoring & Communication

    • Actively monitor online mentions and discussions about Qdrant across social media, forums, and technical platforms (e.g., Hacker News, Stack Overflow).
    • Respond to community questions, issues, and feedback promptly and professionally.
    • Identify and escalate critical issues or trends to internal teams.

    Advocacy & Feedback

    • Advocate for community needs and pain points within the product and engineering teams.
    • Identify and support power users, contributors, and advocates in the community.

    Requirements

    Background in Data Science / Machine Learning

    • Solid understanding of ML concepts, vector databases, embeddings, and the developer landscape in AI.
    • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Community & Social Experience

    • Experience managing technical communities or developer relations.
    • Demonstrated success running social media or community campaigns.
    • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills in English.

    Bonus Points

    • Experience with open-source communities.
    • Familiarity with Qdrant or similar vector search technologies.
    • Ability to create technical content such as tutorials, demos, or short-form videos.
