At Pyne, we're revolutionizing the way users onboard to SaaS products with AI-led, in-product demos that are as engaging as video game onboarding experiences. Our mission is to make learning complex SaaS platforms as intuitive and enjoyable as exploring a new game, using AI to tailor each demo to the user's specific interests and questions. Tasks
As a QA Engineering Intern at Pyne, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative AI-driven platform. Your work will involve:
- Setting up selector-based in-product tours for our customers, ensuring they are intuitive and effective.
- Writing automation tests to streamline our testing processes and increase efficiency.
- Conducting periodic manual tests to identify and resolve issues that automated tests might miss.
- Maintaining the bug board by analyzing, communicating, and arranging bug fixes with the development team.
- Setting up and maintaining alerts to promptly identify and address potential issues.
You'll be working closely with our development team, including Carsten, Çağatay, and Berkant (all Senior Full-stack Engineers), as well as Dan (Sr Product Manager). This role offers the chance to significantly impact the quality of our product and improve user satisfaction.
Requirements
- Pursuing or have obtained a computer science university degree or a similar field.
- A keen interest in QA methodologies and a passion for ensuring product quality.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Javascript, Git, HTML, and CSS
- Ability to work independently, think entrepreneurially, and make decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-focused environment.

Hiring Process
- QA Skills Interview with a member of our engineering team (30 mins).
- Practical QA Test (48 hours) followed by a presentation of your approach and findings (max. 1h).
- Final Interview with Roman, CEO and founder (30 mins).
