Automated Fulfillment Center Value Stream Lead

To achieve this, we are looking for a strong team of highly motivated and analytically skilled logistics experts for our brand new site in Oberhausen. This is an unique opportunity to build this new site from scratch together with a young and ambitious team.

As a Value Stream Lead at Picnic, you'll be dedicated to driving efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction through strategic process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. 🎯 What you’ll do

• Lead value stream mapping exercises to identify current state processes, analyze value-added and non-value-added activities, and develop future state maps to drive process improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve overall process efficiency within value streams.
• Data analysis and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve process issues.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting lean methodologies, facilitating problem-solving workshops, and empower cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the fulfillment team and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
• Natural leadership skills to drive bottom-up engagement & daily involvement of shop floor/employees to drive kaizen/continuous improvements
• Ensure work and food safety in accordance with legal guidelines and quality criteria
• No nonsense attitude towards 5s (cleaning, organized etc) attitude & skilled in training, coaching & implementing these standards improvements

⭐ About you

• University degree, preferably in engineering or supply chain management.
• Bring at least 6 years of experience in large-scale warehousing operations, with a preference for automation expertise.
• Demonstrate at least 5 years of hands-on experience in lean management and/or value stream design, including relevant certification.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and guiding teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Strong analytical capabilities, proficient in data analysis tools such as Tableau and Excel.
• Hands-on mentality, translating ideas into action and leading by example to drive success.
• Fluent proficiency in both English and German languages.
