With motivated Data Analysts on board, the company is now looking to complement the analytics management team to further shape and strengthen the organizational and analytical framework — preparing the department to propel Oldendorff into the future.

Tasks
Join Oldendorff Carriers as Team Lead Analytics (m/f/d), take the lead of one of our two Analytics teams, and become instrumental in our journey towards empowering our Analytics Department to reach its full potential. Provide mentorship to the team by creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that encourages innovation and promotes a data-driven mindset across the organization.
In this role, you will:
- Elevate your Team: Lead and mentor a Team of seven Data Analysts working in Hamburg and Lübeck, encouraging a collaborative and innovative environment. Guide and support the team on their journey to become ready for the tasks and challenges in the future world of analytics.
- Shape our Analytics Landscape: Take a key-role in developing a comprehensive company-wide data foundation and reporting landscape.
- Drive Innovation: Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to enhance our data capabilities.
- Provide Insights: Engage closely with all levels of management, to support operative and strategic decision-making and promote a data-centric mindset.
- Lead Projects: You will manage and oversee major and companywide analytics projects.
- Utilize Advanced Tools: Work with a state-of-the-art Software Stack including Azure Data Lake, Databricks with Unity Catalog, and Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading a team of Data Analysts or having taken on a technical leadership role in analytics.
- Excellent communication skills
- English proficiency for daily communication in our diverse, global team.
- Expertise in what is essential for a modern and consistent analytics and reporting landscape, including data modeling.
- Profound knowledge in SQL and Python
- Experience in shipping or finance is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Databricks is beneficial but not required.
