  • OpenELAB GmbH is a tech startup founded in 2024, headquartered in Munich. We also have offices based in Shenzhen (China), Long Beach (US) and Istanbul (Turkey). We provide AIoT and robotic intelligent hardware modules for global geeks, tech companies, universities, and research institutes, collaborating on the development of smart hardware products.

    Now we're recruiting a Business Development Specialist for our Munich headquarter in Germany. In this job, you will work as part of a dynamic team where the technical requirements are not overly demanding; what we value more is your ability to communicate effectively, coordinate management tasks, and resolve issues. It’s important to maintain an open mindset for learning and an eager maker spirit that looks forward building things on your own, enabling you to quickly familiarize yourself with our electronic development products in AIoT and Robotics.

    Tasks

    Core Responsibilities:

    🎯 Exhibition Coordination (30%)

    • Prepare materials and train personnel for exhibitions in Europe.
    • Manage on-site setup and product presentations.
    • Collect customer information.

    🤝 Customer Service (20%)

    • Address customer complaints (technical and commercial).
    • Provide after-sales support via email and phone.

    💼 Business Projects (20%)

    • Conduct in-person customer visits.
    • Engage in collaboration discussions with universities.

    📦 Logistics Management (20%)

    • Coordinate and manage logistics operations.
    • Ensure timely delivery of customer orders.

    🌟 Events and Activities (10%)

    • Organize fan meetings, maker events, and competitions.

    Requirements

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Marketing, Electronic Engineering, or related fields preferred.

    Experience:

    • Fluency in English and German is required (other languages are a plus).
    • A deep understanding of logistics processes and experience in customer service.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Experience in participating and organizing exhibitions is a plus.

    Skills:

    • Experience in project coordination or office assistance is highly desirable.
    • Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possess a strong team spirit.
