ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
ONE is seeking a strategic, politically astute, and technically proficient Manager for Global Health Policy and Advocacy to drive forward our ambitious agenda in global health. This position will play a pivotal role in advancing ONE's policy and advocacy work related to key multilateral health initiatives, particularly the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) and the Global Vaccine Alliance (Gavi).
The successful candidate will serve as a critical thought partner in shaping and executing advocacy strategies to secure strong and sustained official development assistance (ODA) for global health within upcoming federal budget processes. A core focus of the role will be on building political momentum and public support in the lead-up to the 2025 replenishment cycles for GFATM and Gavi, ensuring these initiatives remain high on the political and public agenda.
In addition to policy and advocacy work, the Manager will provide high-level support to the Director of Partnerships, Communications and Public Relations in expanding and managing ONE's Global Health Champions Ecosystem. This will include helping design and coordinate the inaugural convening of global health champions—bringing together key advocates, influencers, and experts—and organizing a high-impact learning trip that showcases the real-world effects of investments in global health.
This role will report to the Senior Policy and Advocacy Manager. This is a position limited to two years. Starting in September 2025.
The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated team player with excellent project management and communication skills, able to handle a varied role and with experience in global health policy and advocacy.
