We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who is passionate about cloud-native technologies, automation, and building internal tools in Go. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing and maintaining scalable infrastructure, writing Go-based utilities and Kubernetes controllers to improve platform capabilities, deploying microservices, and ensuring reliable CI/CD processes across environments. Your Go development skills will directly support platform automation, custom Kubernetes controllers/operators, and operational tooling within Kubernetes, AWS, and OpenShift.
TasksWhat you'll do
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters in production environments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure and tooling on AWS using best practices.
- Write and maintain Go programs/tools, including Kubernetes controllers, to support automation, operations, and platform features.
- Build and manage Helm charts for deploying applications and services.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Collaborate with developers to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Monitor systems, handle incidents, and drive improvements in observability and uptime.
RequirementsOur ideal new colleague
- Strong experience managing production Kubernetes clusters, including OpenShift.
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (EKS, IAM, EC2, S3, etc.).
- Proficient in Go, with experience building internal tools and Kubernetes controllers/operators.
- Experience creating and managing Helm charts.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc. is a plus).
- Good understanding of GitOps, containerization, and modern DevOps practices.
Nice to Have:- Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.
- Exposure to security best practices and compliance standards.
