Lead Developer (m/f/d) - B2B SaaS

As a young company based in beautiful Berlin, we are on a mission to transform how absence and healthcare management is handled in companies. We provide our customers with an innovative data platform to measure and reduce their employee absence rates and are passionate about improving peoples health. Since our founding in 2021, our team has grown continuously, and we have big plans ahead. As we expand our impact, we're in search of a Lead Developer to champion our mission.

Tasks

• Assume a lead role in our development team, driving strategic initiatives and mentoring junior developers.
• Lead the charge in developing our backend & Frontent systems, focusing on scalability, security, and performance. Your work will directly influence the robustness and efficiency of our services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and services, beeing instrumental in maintaining code quality, system security, and pushing for continuous improvement across all technical fronts.
• Engage in solving complex technical challenges while contributing to the strategic development and professionalization of our platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in development, particularly with vue.js (or similar) PHP, Laravell, Postgres, Cloud Provider
• Demonstrated leadership in managing secure backend systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of web technology stacks, database security, and web development best practices.
• A "can do" Mentality with the ability to work independently and in a remote team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
• Fluency in English, German is a plus

First Month: Dive into understanding our system with a hands-on
approach. You'll start by learning the ins and outs of our platform through pair programming sessions with our existing Team, and start to collaborate on design and implementation of your first features, helping us grow the plattform

After Three Months: Shift focus towards the professionalization of our platform.
You'll be encouraged to experiment with new ideas, enhance system capabilities, and contribute to the strategic development of our services.

After Six Months: you're driving the development team towards new milestones.
You lead our development team, contribute significantly to our growth strategy and become part of our Recruiting efforts to shape the future direction of the company.

Tech Stack:
Vue.js, PHP, Laravel, Postgres, GraphQL, n8n Workflow Engine, Docker, GitLab, Webflow.
