At our office in the heart of Frankfurt, you will lead our engineering teams across Backend, Mobile, Web, QA, Analytics, and Security to deliver a reliable and seamless experience. Expect a steep learning curve, exciting challenges, and lots of fun along the way!
Tasks
- Lead and align our cross-functional engineering team across Backend, Mobile (iOS/Android), Web, QA, Analytics, and (Cloud) Security.
- Own and evolve our technical architecture with a focus on reliability and scalability while helping the team to push more features.
- Drive platform security and data protection initiatives, ensuring compliance and resilience across the stack
- Establish and improve engineering workflows, testing culture, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring.
- Mentor and grow engineers and leads, building a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
Requirements

10+ years of experience in software engineering, with deep technical expertise across backend systems, mobile platforms, infrastructure, and security

Proven track record as Head of Engineering, VP Engineering or similar, ideally in a mobile-first B2C environment with millions of users

You’re a techie at heart who’s grown into a strong people and org leader over time

Web Frontend: React, Angular, Bootstrap, TypeScript, Node.js, GCP

iOS: Xcode, Objective-C, Swift, CocoaPods
