    Tasks

    Do what you love

    You'll be part of a dynamic duo, sharing your role with a talented part-time HR Manager based in Barcelona. Together, you'll form a strong support system for six of our European offices. As an HR Manager, your role encompasses overseeing the daily HR operations while also spearheading our team's growth across our various studios. This position operates in close collaboration with our Managing Director EUX and team leads in Germany, Barcelona, London, and Zurich, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment across the board.

    Spearheading team expansion efforts by sourcing top-tier talent and navigating them through a dynamic and engaging recruitment process

    • Managing all things HR, from welcoming new hires to handling contracts, perks, and everything in between – making sure our teams feel supported every step of the way
    • Getting in sync with team leaders across Germany, the UK, Spain, and Switzerland to really understand what makes their teams tick and how we can supercharge their success
    • Ensuring seamless execution of monthly payroll operations across Spain, Germany, and Switzerland together with the local accountants
    • Integrating the latest HR best practices and industry trends into our operational framework
    • Maintaining strict adherence to labour laws and regulations in each studio to uphold organizational compliance standards
    • Being there for our awesome employees with a listening ear and a helping hand, creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported
    • Driving enhancements in the learning and development processes to foster continuous growth and skill enhancement among employees

    Requirements

    What makes us curious

    • You have at least 6+ years of experience in HR Management in Germany and/ or ideally UK, Spain and Switzerland
    • You are able to prepare a German Payroll for the accountants and understand the basics
    • Profound experience in HR-related legal matters for companies operating in Germany and/ or UK, Spain and Switzerland
    • You speak fluent German and are thus able to communicate directly with German and Swiss authorities (i.e. Finanzamt, Steuerbüro, Krankenkassen and more)
    • Willingness to travel (within Europe, about 1-2 days every 6 weeks)
    • Experience in scaling teams, ideally in a creative/agency environment
    • Master the interplay between business interests, user needs and technical restrictions
    • You are a team player and like to work interdisciplinary with your colleagues.
    • You are always up to date and know the current trends and innovations in the industry
    • Fluent in using cloud-based tools like Google Sheets/Excel, Slack, as well as HR reporting tools
