Senior Project Manager – Lean & Digital Operations (m/f/d)

Hamburg | Regular Shopfloor Work | 1–2 trips/month

Declining productivity. Rising complexity. Global competition. At Make Work Flow, we don’t write Lean concepts or PowerPoint roadmaps. We make Lean executable on the shop floor – powered by simple, pragmatic digital tools. We combine deep shopfloor Lean experience with software to build what factories actually need: clarity, flow, speed, and control.

Now we’re looking for a Senior Project Manager – Lean & Digital Operations to drive real implementations with real impact.

Tasks

Own end-to-end customer implementations of our Flow platform
(sample.flow, production.flow, onepiece.flow)
Lead on-site workshops in factories to understand processes, identify bottlenecks, and define target workflows
Translate Lean principles (flow, pull, visual management) into digital, scalable implementations
Coordinate closely with Product & Engineering teams in Hamburg and our tech hub in Amman (Jordan)
Drive timelines, milestones, risks, and outcomes — hands-on, pragmatic, solution-oriented
Continuously improve our implementation playbooks, templates, and rollout standards
Act as a trusted sparring partner for customer operations teams and management
Optionally: help build and mentor future project managers as we scale (not mandatory)

Language & Location

German strongly preferred (customers & shopfloor communication)
English required
Based in Hamburg, with regular traveleing / on-site customer work

Requirements

You’re likely a Wirtschaftsingenieur, Produktionsingenieur or similar who:
Has 3–8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, operations, or Lean environments
Knows the shop floor is where value is created – and enjoys being there
Has worked with Lean, Operational Excellence, or production systems (formally or informally)
Is technically curious and enjoys working with digital tools (you don’t need to code)
Can manage projects without hiding behind bureaucracy
Communicates clearly with shopfloor teams and management
Is comfortable traveling to customer sites 1–2 times per month

You don’t need to be a Lean Black Belt. You do need a pragmatic mindset and a drive to make things work.
