  • Your tasks

    • Monitor and control inventory valuation processes in Microsoft Business Central – ensuring both financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate closely on monthly closing activities: work with Accounting and FP&A to validate inventory-related accounts, reconcile value postings, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • Ensure P&L accuracy by aligning COGS, inventory, and stock movement entries with accounting and financial reporting needs.
    • Develop and maintain financial inventory forecasts and planning models: support FP&A with short-, mid-, and long-term outlooks on stock levels, price trends, and working capital implications.
    • Support the design and tracking of inventory KPIs, including Days on Hand, Purchase Price Variance, and stock aging.
    • Partner closely with Tech & Accounting to identify ERP issues (e.g., incorrect value postings, inventory adjustments) and define requirements for accurate, scalable data flow.
    • Contribute to intercompany inventory flows: ensure cross-border stock transfers between KoRo entities are correctly mapped and documented.
    • Help improve our financial systems landscape by shaping how inventory, purchasing and logistics data interact in our ERP and BI tools.

    Your profile

    • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • You live in Berlin or the surrounding area, or are willing to move to Berlin for your new job
    • Fluency in English, German is a plus.
    • Several years of experience in Controlling, Finance Business Partnering or Supply Chain Finance – ideally in a product-driven company (e.g. eCommerce, FMCG, Retail, D2C).
    • Hands-on experience with ERP systems – especially Microsoft Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
    • Solid understanding of monthly closing processes and the impact of inventory on the P&L and balance sheet.
    • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and system validation.
    • A structured, autonomous work style with strong analytical thinking & business acumen and a passion for optimizing systems and designing scalable planning processes.
