    Do you have a passion for mechanical design for electronics? Would you like to take on the challenges of integrating IoT sensors into the most sophisticated objects? At Kinexon, you will have the opportunity to express your full creativity!

    You will be involved in creating the smallest sensors integrated inside connected balls (such as football, handball, or basketball). You will leave your mark on the automotive and aerospace industry by developing a broad range of IoT devices. If you are a hands-on person, in our lab, you can work independently on your innovative ideas, test, and validate them.

     

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Performing Mechanical Design and guiding the mechanical aspects of development processes of various enclosures and fixtures for a broad range of IoT wireless devices
    • Collaborating with team members from different disciplines, such as Electronics, Project Management, Manufacturing stakeholders, field support, and suppliers
    • Performing Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulations and analysis for design validation and troubleshooting
    • Prototyping, designing, and executing experiments
    • Issuing technical drawings, defining fabrication processes, materials and finishing standards and performing tolerance analyses

     

    YOUR PROFILE

    • Degree (Uni./FH) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar
    • 2-3 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering / Product Design and in Injection Molding, ideally with electronics related products
    • Proficient with CAD software (SolidWorks) and basic experience with CAE software for structural, modal, thermal analysis (SolidWorks, SimScale)
    • Good knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis (1D is necessary, 2D beneficial)
    • Proficient in issuing manufacturing 2D drawings and necessary production documentations
    • Knowledge of ISO GPS or GD&T and familiarity with PCBAs and PCBA components is a plus
    • Very good English skills for composing internal documentations and assembly instructions
