Aufgaben

As a Frontend Developer are these some of your main tasks:

• Optimisation of the user interface of the self-developed human-in-the-loop machine learning system (for information extraction from free-text electronic health records).
• Responsible for extending and the improvement of the statistical analysis tool for medical data.
• Managing the interactions with REST-API machine-learning and data backends.
• Support of the decision-making on future frontend technologies and technology switch.
• Deploy to dedicated servers as well as Google cloud platform utilizing CI/CD.
• Close work with a multidisciplinary team of medical domain experts, developers and deep learning researchers.

Qualifikation

• Based in Germany or Austria or planning to move there.
• At least three years of experience as Frontend Developer - Your are a pro!
• A Master’s degree in engineering, computational science or a related field.
• Proficient in Angular and React/Vue.js or similar frameworks and Python.
• Solid experience in statistical data analysis.
• Knowledge to analyze complex architectures and making independent decisions.
• Expert in modern software engineering practices (clean code, design patterns, refactoring, object-oriented programming, test-driven development).
• No stranger to UI/UX-Design themes.
• Fluent in english - spoken and written - and a good command of German.
• A good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Docker and Gitlab CI/CD is a plus.
