As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented team of engineers to deliver market-leading content creation experiences, leveraging AI to enhance efficiency and user delight. You will define the strategy and roadmap for your team, guide technical execution, and ensure high-quality software delivery. Working in a collaborative, remote-first environment, you will support your team’s growth, influence platform design, and champion developer and creator experiences. Your leadership will directly impact how organizations create, manage, and scale content with AI-powered tools, shaping the future of content operations across diverse industries.
Accountabilities:
· Lead and support a team of engineers in planning, prioritizing, and delivering high-impact projects.
· Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define strategy, roadmap, and team objectives.
· Drive the development of intuitive and AI-powered creator experiences, ensuring high usability and performance.
· Mentor and grow team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation.
· Influence software architecture and platform design decisions, maintaining high technical standards.
· Work with leadership to establish scalable processes and improve team efficiency.
Requirements
· 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering with at least 1 year in an engineering leadership role.
· Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, NodeJS, and web fundamentals.
· Experience building AI-powered applications or working with LLM APIs, including evaluation and performance metrics.
· Proven ability to lead teams in a product/SaaS environment, managing projects from concept to delivery.
· Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
· Curious and creative problem solver with a deep focus on developer and user experience.
· Open to working in a remote, cross-cultural European environment.
