One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer in Europe.
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-growing product engineering team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of a market-leading content management platform. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and developers—you will be responsible for test planning, automation, and continuous improvement of QA processes. You will drive forward initiatives that enhance test coverage and software resilience, all while mentoring peers and fostering a culture of excellence. This is an opportunity to influence both the product quality and user experience at scale in a fully remote and international environment.
Accountabilities:
- Prepare and review detailed test plans for new and existing features
- Develop and maintain automated tests using tools like Cypress and Playwright
- Execute both manual and automated tests, logging and tracking bugs in Jira
- Drive QA strategy improvements, including metrics, automation, and tooling
- Participate in development kick-offs and provide early QA input
- Conduct post-release testing and ensure bug resolution is complete and documented
- Support cross-functional teams by advocating for high-quality standards
- Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices across the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 7 years of QA engineering experience, with 3+ years in test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, and TypeScript
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies throughout the SDLC
- Experience with both frontend and backend testing strategies
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first, collaborative, and fast-paced setting
