We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join a globally distributed UI Engineering team, shaping and enhancing core web applications and internal platforms. In this role, you will design and implement scalable, high-quality user interfaces that deliver intuitive experiences for external users while enabling internal teams to work efficiently. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ensure consistency across the platform and align with design systems. The ideal candidate is product-focused, experienced in Next.js and TypeScript, and passionate about frontend architecture, performance optimization, and delivering clean, maintainable code. This role offers the opportunity to influence platform evolution while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Accountabilities
· Partner with Product Managers and UX designers to deliver polished, user-centric experiences for both external and internal applications.
· Build and maintain scalable frontend components and extend the shared Design System.
· Monitor and optimize application performance, proactively resolving bottlenecks.
· Contribute to design discussions and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality standards.
· Collaborate with peers to explore innovations, refine engineering practices, and document best practices.
· Own the end-to-end implementation of medium and large features, from concept to delivery.
· Continuously improve and refactor existing codebases to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
· 3+ years of software engineering experience building web applications.
· Strong proficiency in Next.js 14+ (App Router), including SSR, CSR, SSG, and ISR rendering strategies.
· Expertise in TypeScript with comprehensive typing practices to deliver maintainable and reliable UIs.
· Experience breaking down product requirements into well-defined feature epics and user stories.
· Skilled in CSS and Tailwind, and experienced with Figma and internal design systems.
· Experience writing unit and integration tests, including API mocks.
· Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team environment.
