As a Full Stack Engineer, you will contribute to building a robust, cloud-based quality management platform that supports life science teams in launching and scaling life-saving products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver scalable solutions across the platform, taking ownership of end-to-end development and ensuring operational stability. The role involves hands-on coding, architecture reviews, and collaboration with product managers and engineers to meet customer and business objectives. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies including Python, Node.js, TypeScript, React, AWS services, and modern database systems. This fully remote position offers a flexible and innovative environment where your work directly impacts the speed and quality of critical life science applications.
Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based full stack solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and operational reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to maintain architecture standards and best practices.
- Apply engineering best practices such as test-driven development (TDD), clean code, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
- Support both RDBMS and NoSQL database solutions, ensuring performance and maintainability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python and Node.js.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or AngularJS, and working with REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including ECS, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, and VPCs.
- Familiarity with OpenSearch and cloud-based data management solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, and event-driven systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote, distributed team environment and collaborate effectively across time zones.
- Agile mindset with experience in DevSecOps practices and iterative development.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision while delivering quality solutions.
