Working student (f/m/d) - QA Software Engineer Cloud

IONOS is looking for a Working Student in QA Software Engineering to work in the Cloud PaaS Products Team.

This is a position for those interested in building the foundation of The European Cloud Provider. Our team is developing Cloud PaaS scalable services for Businesses. We need you: A motivated and experienced software engineer. You will work together with a creative and innovative group of people that love experimenting and learning new things. We are an international team that breaks barriers and brings the European digital future ahead.

Tasks

• Test newly developed software, existing software upgrades and deployments to ensure quality is maintained; executing backend tests.
• Define test cases based on feature Acceptance criteria.
• Create backend API automated test scripts and test scenarios.
• Works with our cloud team of developers and product owner.
• Documenting test processes and results.

Qualifications

• Familiar with tools like Postman, Karate and GitHub Actions.
• Nice to have hands-on backend Rest API and microservices testing using Java or Javascript.
• Understanding of coding best practices, design patterns of the Cloud technologies and microservices development life cycle.
• Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Test Automation Frameworks.
• You speak English fluently.
