Jr. Finance Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany (on-site)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Finance Manager to support our regulatory and statistical reporting functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting (HGB/IFRS), tax compliance, and regulatory processes while contributing to process improvements. Basic Python skills are required to assist in automation and data analysis tasks.
Tasks
- Assist in preparing regulatory reports in compliance with CRR, KWG, and other banking regulations.
- Support daily monitoring of capital requirements (e.g., LCR, Leverage Ratio).
- Help optimize reporting processes and implement automation solutions using Python.
- Analyze regulatory changes and support senior team members in implementing adjustments.
- Collaborate with accounting and tax teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal queries related to regulatory reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in banking/finance (internships included); familiarity with regulatory reporting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic proficiency in Python (for data processing/automation).
- Strong Excel skills; knowledge of BAIS or other reporting tools is advantageous.
- Team player, eager to learn, and detail-oriented.
- Fluent in English and German (written/spoken).
