Control Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
full-time, permanent employment
This position will report to the Head of Tracker Control and will work closely with Engineering Teams.
Tasks
- Test and validate new solutions for solar tracker control systems
- Collaborate with external EMS partners for the further development of AC and DC tracker control systems
- Perform measurements on solar tracker control systems for certification processes
- Create specific manuals and required documentation
- Provide root cause analysis reports for technical claims
- Create design guidelines and bill of materials for the electrical design of solar power plants
- Support and collaborate with product management, project execution, engineering, purchasing, sales and after sales.
- Develop and maintain programming codes for solar tracking algorithms using Python, Linux and other current programming languages.
- Check and create electronic design of circuit boards.
Requirements
- Have an university engineering degree (B.Eng./B.Sc., M.Eng./M.Sc.) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar engineering degree or higher.
- High documentation and communication skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English and German language.
- Own strong coordination skills as well as very good time-management.
- An outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal, intercultural skills and “can do” attitude.
- Ability to carry independent tasks in an organized way.
- Knowledge in long and medium range wireless communication systems.
- Experience in managing the development of technical products is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel (20%).
- Driving license.
