We are a digital marketing agency looking for a Digital Analytics Consultant to support our team and our eCommerce clients, particularly in the implementation and optimization of GA4 tracking, Tag Management (client- and server-side GTM), and Consent Management Platforms (CMP), ideally in combination with Shopify.
Your Key Responsibilities
Tasks
- Lead and implement advanced GA4 tracking setups, including GA4 Enhanced E-Commerce tracking
- Develop and maintain GTM (client- and server-side) configurations
- Familiarity with Google Consent Mode
- Ensure CMP integration is compliant with GDPR/DSGVO and compatible with analytics and marketing tools - No legal skills required, but experience in this field is a plus
- Act as an analytics advisor to our German-speaking clients
- Collaborate with our internal English-speaking Tech Support team to build, challenge, and improve tracking setups
- Support data integration with platforms like BigQuery and Looker Studio - You will also be supported by specialists in this field
- Provide general technical support related to Digital Analytics and MarTech
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Digital Analytics, ideally more
- Expertise in GA4, GTM, CMPs - Experience with Shopify is a plus
- Experience in a major Online Marketing Field, like SEA, SMA or Display Advertising
- Experience with server-side GTM is essential
- Basic understanding of GDPR/DSGVO and how it impacts tracking
- Familiarity with BigQuery, Looker Studio, and other Google Cloud tools
- Basic JavaScript skills (e.g. event handling, dataLayer manipulation)
- Able to advise clients in German and communicate fluently in English with our internal team
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset when working with technical teams
