Data and Backend Engineer (Hybrid)

We are on a steep growth curve and are expanding our team to include a Data Science & Full-stack Engineer role. This role blends data analytics and backend development to drive our digital-first solutions in housing. You'll play a crucial role in leveraging data insights and enhancing our platform's functionality, contributing to global operations and innovation.

Tasks

• Design and implement robust ELT & ETL processes to ensure high data quality and efficiency, enabling seamless data integration and analysis.
• Develop and optimize data models within Snowflake, leveraging Python and Tableau to derive actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
• Build and maintain scalable event-driven data flows between third-party systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AWS cloud services seamlessly, enhancing data processing and storage capabilities for improved operational efficiency.
• Collaborate on the development of IaC via Terraform for new AWS deployments.
• Drive operational excellence by delivering solutions in process automation and third-party integrations, enhancing tenant experiences and streamlining internal operations.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• Possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience in web development, with a strong understanding of data science principles.
• Demonstrate expertise in ETL processes, Snowflake, Python, Tableau, and AWS, showcasing your ability to leverage diverse technologies for effective solutions.
• Experience in backend development, especially with Python and NodeJs.
• Exhibit a proven track record of delivering clean, efficient, and well-documented code, reflecting your dedication to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills, coupled with strong communication and collaboration abilities, essential for navigating complex technical challenges and working effectively within teams.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for clean, efficient code and a proactive commitment to continuous learning and improvement, ensuring your skills remain relevant and cutting-edge in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
