We are seeking a senior engineer with a strong background in both front-end and back-end development to help us build our core product: AI-powered lawyer agents. Your primary responsibility will be to architect, develop, and deliver a minimum viable product (MVP) by the end of the year. This is a unique opportunity to work on a greenfield project, defining the technical direction and building a product from the ground up that will have a significant impact on the legal profession.
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience as a Full-Stack Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in React for front-end development.
- Solid experience with Node.js and/or Python for back-end development.
- Demonstrated experience in building and deploying scalable web applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a collaborative approach to development.
- Ability to take ownership of a project and deliver an MVP under a tight deadline.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy a full-stack application using Python, Node.js, and React.
- Build the user-facing interface for our AI lawyer agents, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Develop and integrate back-end services to power the AI agents, including handling user requests and, when necessary, intelligently connecting them with human lawyers.
- Architect and implement robust Document and Context Management Systems to process, analyze, and store legal documents and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with the AI/ML specialist to integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and agentic systems into the product.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the application.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
- Adhere to best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Experience with document management or context management systems.
- Knowledge of legal tech solutions, particularly in areas like eDiscovery, contract analytics, or legal case management.
