  • For an international Distributor we we are looking for

    Technical Sales Manager Fine Chemicals/Pharma m/f/d

    • with a solid technical background in chemistry and fine chemicals and a significant experience in Sales (5/7 years) in Germany or German speaking countries
    • Target is to expand and structure our Fine Chemical/Pharmaceutical Business Unit, we are currently looking for a Sales & Technical Manager,
    • Hamburg office based/ 2 days homeoffice

    Tasks

    • Conduct market research to identify and pursue business opportunities to expand the company's
    • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new segments within the relevant industry;
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in the industry;
    • Make contact with potential clients, understand their needs, and tailor solutions to meet those needs;
    • Work closely with the Fine Chemical BU Director to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination on projects;
    • Liaise with HQ to provide regular updates on the development of API business in Germany and Central Europe.
    • Prepare detailed reports on market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.

    Requirements

    Your background and skills:

    • A bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry or pharmaceutical science or a related discipline, and a good understanding of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) development and production processes.
    • Results-Driven, demonstrating a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the chemical raw materials industry.
    • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical market, particularly in the production of APIs
    • Existing network within the chemical pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and explain the technical aspects of the products in a clear and compelling manner.
    • A proactive mindset to take initiative in order to identify and pursue opportunities;
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with the existing sales team and other departments within the company, such as technical support and customer service
    • Fluency in German. Proficiency in English is often necessary for international business interactions and for internal communication
